Celebrate #ChildHealthDay with Dance Marathon

Every year, the first Monday of October is recognized as #ChildHealthDay. On this day, Miracle Network Dance Marathon programs come together to raise funds and awareness because #KidsCantWait.

Dance Marathon is a nationwide, student-run movement that unites campuses, schools and the community to benefit their local Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospital- including Children’s Wisconsin. Dance Marathon’s across the nation host mini fundraisers plus a main event where students stay on their feet through dancing, games, entertainment and interaction with local patient families.

In 2019, students at St. Norbert’s College in De Pere, stayed on their feet for 13.1 hours and raised more than $55,000 to support Children’s Wisconsin. Their donation funded the placement and school training of AEDs at 13 schools throughout the state.

You can help make an impact at Children’s Wisconsin in three simple steps:

  1. Join the movement and sign up for your local Dance Marathon
    • Find your local Dance Marathon here and register today!
  2. Raise funds and show support for kids treated at Children’s Wisconsin.
  3. Share, share share!
    • Spread the word by tagging @dancemarathon and @ChildrensWI on social media and be sure to use the hashtags #ChildHealthDay and #KidsCantWait.
